Xbox Has Its Own Series X Twitter Hashtag Emoji Now

Part of the marketing and hype lead-up to any tech launch, now, is a bespoke Twitter hashtag emoji. And now, ahead of its November 10 launch, Xbox Series X has its own.

Microsoft has chosen a Series X over the cuter Series S for its emoji series, and the image will now be attached to several Twitter hashtags. In a Twitter thread, Xbox announced the following hashtags will carry an image of the powerful rectangular console:

  • #XboxSeriesX
  • #Xbox
  • #SeriesX
  • #PowerYourDreams
  • #PYD
  • #JumpIn

Of course, in emoji form, the Series X is a tiny little thing–in real life, it’s quite large.

The PlayStation 5 has its own Twitter emoji too, and has for a while–it’s a little DualSense controller.

The Xbox Series X and Series S release worldwide on November 10–less than a month away. Here’s every launch title coming to the new Xbox, and GameSpot’s preorder guide for

But which one should you buy? Which one can you buy now that pre-orders are out the window?

That’s a tricky question with a lot of layers to dissect. The answer is, of course, it depends. Do you own a 4K TV? Do you subscribe to Game Pass? Are you a Halo fan or a God of War fan? Do you like Bethesda games or Naughty Dog games?

We thought we’d ask the dedicated gamers on CNET’s staff which consoles they’re planning to buy and in what order.

GameStop And Microsoft Enter Multi-Year Partnership Ahead Of Xbox Series X Launch

The customer service experience is set to change at GameStop as the company enters a multi-year partnership with Microsoft. The deal enables the retailer to provide a “differentiated and personalized in-store customer experience” centered around more advanced tools through Microsoft assets like Dynamics 365, Surface notebooks, and Teams.

These changes will make GameStop feel more like an Apple store or Best Buy, with store associates walking around with Surface devices in hand and gaining access to customer information through Microsoft’s cloud-based platforms. Both Dynamics 365 and Teams aim to enhance GameStop’s productivity and collaboration tools to smooth out back-end and in-store experiences. These platforms give associates more detailed information on product availability, customer preferences and purchase history, subscriptions and prices, and upcoming or ongoing promotions.

This collaboration comes as GameStop announced payment plans for Microsoft’s upcoming next-gen consoles, the Xbox Series S and Series X, earlier this week. The plans
