Skype makes it easy to share files with your contacts, whether you’re in a chat, conference, or call. On a desktop computer, you can share any kind of file, but if you’re using a phone, your options are more limited.

How to send files on Skype using the desktop app

Open the Skype app and begin a text chat with the person you want to share a file with.

There are two ways to share the file:

  • Find the file on your desktop and drag it into the Skype app. You should see a message in Skype that says “Drop file or contact details to send.” After you drop the file in the app, click the Send message arrow to complete the transfer.

Old Tech Stock, New Growth Potential

Don’t Ignore This Decades-Old Tech Stock

Compared to the high-flying stocks in today’s red-hot tech sector, Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) may not seem like an exciting name. The company, which has been around since 1978, is trading at roughly the same level it was a year ago.

But if you decide to ignore MU stock, you could be missing out on a serious growth opportunity.

The first thing to note is that even though Micron is a four-decades-old business, it is churning out some very impressive growth rates.

In the fourth quarter of the company’s fiscal year 2020, which ended September 3, it generated approximately $6.1 billion in revenue, representing a 24% increase year-over-year and an 11% increase sequentially.
