Rocco Spindler had a heart-to-heart talk with Clarkston junior quarterback Mike DePillo before the season began.

“This offense is going to roll on you,” said Spindler, the 6-foot-5, 310-pound two-way tackle committed to Notre Dame. “The O-line is going to do their job.”

The offensive line has been terrific and DePillo has been outstanding, never better than in Friday’s 31-7 victory over rival Lake Orion to improve to 4-0.

“He’s stepped up to the plate,” said Spindler. “The O-line is doing their jobs and he’s doing his and he’s rolling.”
