Study for Google Cloud Platform certification exams with this $30 7-course prep bundle

The IT industry is experiencing a gradual shift from on-premise data centers to flexible cloud solutions offering similar levels of networking, storage, and computing capabilities. In fact, cloud providers like Google Cloud are ideal for SMBs and startups thanks to the low initial investment. Meanwhile, data centers can be much more expensive when you take into account the costs for equipment and IT staff. You’re more likely to find data centers in midsize to enterprise-level companies, and even then, they use a hybridized approach with both cloud and on-premise resources.

Suffice to say, cloud computing is the new norm. If you’re an IT professional looking to sharpen your skill set, a cloud certification in a popular platform such as Google Cloud is a necessary addition to your arsenal. This Google Cloud Certifications Practice Tests + Courses Bundle contains all of the knowledge you need to prepare for the GCP certification

The big winner of Apple’s new One subscription bundle is Apple TV Plus

Apple’s new Apple One bundle, which gives customers an assortment of Apple-owned services for a monthly fee, is likely to help out subscriptions for all of its offerings, but few need it as much as TV Plus.

Apple has been relatively quiet about anything related to TV Plus’ metrics in the almost year it’s been out. There are no subscriber numbers, no big displays of bragging about The Morning Show or Ted Lasso’s viewership figures. (In fairness to Apple, the company hasn’t given an update on Apple Music subscribers since June 2019, and while CEO Tim Cook did share this year that Apple News has 125 million subscribers, he chose not to disclose how many people signed up for $10 subscription version.) All that exists is reports from third-party analytics firms and articles from Bloomberg — one which suggested earlier this year that Apple TV Plus had 10 million

There are still a few things we don’t know about Apple’s new subscription bundle, Apple One.

This story is part of Apple Event, our full coverage of the latest news from Apple headquarters.

At Apple’s virtual event on Tuesday, we got a first look at Apple One, the new subscription bundle tying together different combinations of the tech giant’s services, including Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, iCloud, Apple News Plus and the newly announced Apple Fitness Plus. Think of this as Apple’s version of Amazon Prime.

Over the past few years, Apple has been heavily investing in its services business, shifting its focus from the hardware that made the company a household name, like the iPhone and the Mac. The introduction of Apple One puts even more emphasis on these subscriptions, and getting people into Apple’s growing subscription ecosystem — and also keeping

The new Apple One bundles could be a great value for some customers and keep them tethered to Apple’s services, analysts told CNN Business. It could also be a sign that some of these individual subscriptions didn’t draw enough consumer attention on their own. Apple has not shared how well services such as Arcade and TV+ have performed.

“Apple is unrelentingly moving forward with its drive towards higher services revenue as part of its overall earnings,” said Joost van Dreunen, founder of video game investment firm New Breukelen. “Apple’s individual subscriptions weren’t performing as well as Apple had planned… Apple would rather just bundle all of it.”

The subscription service comes in three tiers. The cost of an Individual plan is $14.95, which gets

  • Apple announced a new bundle subscription service on Tuesday called Apple One, which includes existing services such as Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, and Apple Arcade.
  • Music streaming giant Spotify reacted by accusing Apple of anticompetitive behavior, saying the bundle allows Apple to favor its own services to the detriment of developers.
  • It called on regulators to check Apple’s power before it causes “irreparable harm to the developer community.”
  • In response, Apple said that “customers can discover and enjoy alternatives to every one of Apple’s services,” and that the bundle “is a great value for customers and a simple way to access the full range of Apple’s subscription services.”

Spotify Says Apple One Bundle Will Cause ‘Irreparable Harm to Developer Community’

Apple today announced Apple One, a series of new subscription bundles that provide access to various Apple services at a combined monthly price.

In response, Spotify sent out statements (via Peter Kafka) to the press decrying Apple’s anti-competitive behavior and calling on “competition authorities” to stop Apple before it is able to cause “irreparable harm” to developers.

Once again, Apple is using its dominant position and unfair practices to disadvantage competitors and deprive consumers by favoring its own services. We call on competition authorities to act urgently to restrict Apple’s anti-competitive behavior, which if left unchecked, will cause irreparable harm to the developer community and threaten our collective freedoms to listen, learn, create, and connect.

There are three separate Apple One plans that start at $14.95 per month. The standard plan includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud storage. Individually, these services would be priced

Apple One bundle, long rumored, would cheer Wall Street

For Apple investors, the most exciting product the company could release this fall isn’t a new version of the iPhone or Apple Watch: It’s a bundle that tie some of the company’s subscription services together and give users with a discount for subscribing to more than one at the same time.

Apple hasn’t confirmed “Apple One,” the suggested name for the bundle, but technology blog 9to5Google found code in the Apple Music Android app earlier this week suggesting that the iPhone maker will tie its music service to other subscriptions it offers, like Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud storage.

If Apple One launches this fall, Wall Street investors and analysts will be happy. An Apple bundle has been on investor wish
